Events

NSS

The College has a strong and dedicated Unit of NSS. The National Service Scheme Unit of the college provides opportunities to students to participate in various urban and rural projects. Its objectives is to train students to understand educational, socio-economic, health and hygienic problems of weaker sections of the society and to inculcate in them social awareness, sense of belonging, fellow feeling and love for hard work. Enrolment in NSS is strictly by selection. All the NSS volunteers are given equal opportunities to participate in various camps and competitions.

DLLE

The Department of Life Long Learning and Extension (DLLE) offers flexible and continued learning opportunities to students and community. DLLE helps the students to expand their understanding of people and communities in general. The selection procedure for DLLE strictly follows the norms of the University of Mumbai.

WDC

The Women Development Committee of the college organizes various activities and awareness programs for the girl students. The committee also gives personal counseling to girl students. Programmes like self-defense, health and hygiene, rights of women, gender equality etc. are organized throughout the year.

Cultural

The college has a dedicated cultural committee which constantly organizes various intracollege and intercollege cultural activities and fest. Annual gathering and cultural programme is organized every year wherein students get opportunity to display their talents.

Departmental

Each department of the college has an Association that looks after the departmental activities and programmes. Every department organizes various competitions throughout the year which help the students to improve their subject knowledge. The activities/competitions organized by the departments are open to all the students of the college. The departments, their associations and programmes are:

Sports

The college has a gymkhana/sports room with indoor games facility like Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess. The college also has open and courtyard facility. Sports events like Badminton, Volley Ball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Throwing Events, Tug of War, Running are arranged every year. Students are also motivated to participate in intercollege and university sports competitions.

Seminars/Conferences/Workshops:

The college motivates staff and students to participate and present research papers in National and International Seminars and Conferences. The college also organizes International/National conferences/Seminars from time to time in order to uplift and promote research culture in staff and students.
