Admission Guidelines

  1. General Guidelines :

Admission of F.Y.B.A. / B.COM. is granted as per merit and other norms laid down by the University and the Government of Maharashtra, from time to time. The Principal reserves the right to amend/modify the guidelines regarding admission as and when such amendments / modifications are received from the Government / University, as the case may be. They will be accordingly notified on the College Notice Board at the time of admission. Parents and students are requested to go through the guidelines and admission notices put up on the college notice board, before seeking admission in the college.

4.1: A candidate is eligible for admission to the three year integrated course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Arts or Commerce should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Mumbai or an examination recognized as equivalent with subjects, as may be specified by the University of Mumbai.

4.2: A student form another university or board of secondary or intermediate education or any other statutory examination body seeking admission to the university shall apply to the registrar for a statement of eligibly and except in the case of students from the universities in the state of Maharashtra who shall require to pay requisite fee. The registrar may issue a provisional statement of eligibility if he is satisfied that the applicant is prima facie eligible a student may seek provisional admission to this University at his/her own risk and on condition that he/she submits to the registrar’s Office the Head/Principal of his institution / College the necessary certificated in original together with a types application for confirmation of his / her eligibility before the close of the academic term in which the student is provisionally admitted to the University. No students from another University shall be admitted to any institution maintained by or affiliated to the university except on production of provisional statement of Eligibility issued by the Registrar. A student coming from other Universities has to submit Migration Certificate at the time of admission.

4.3: Students coming from other colleges affiliated to the university of Mumbai will be admitted only provisionally on production of No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Principal of the college last attended and their admission will be confirmed only on receipt of the Transference Certificate (TC) from their previous college. To get the same, the students should collect T.C. from the college office and the duly filled in form should be submitted to the college last attended.

  1. Online Admission:

University of Mumbai has Online Admission Process through http://mum.digitaluniversity.ac/. All the aspiring students for students for undergraduate course have to fill the Online Admission from and submit the printout of the same at the college in the prescribed time.

 

Guideline for Online Admission :

University of Mumbai has made available the facility of ‘Pre-Admission Online Registration’ to the aspiring students. Applicants seeking admission to the course offered by university affiliated colleges and institutes may use this facility.

  • Assist in applying for any course in any college of this university without any hassles. The motivation behind the “Pre-Admission Online Registration” is to provide an online mechanism through which applicants can directly apply online to various courses and colleges affiliated to University. This is also about enabling applicants from distant / remote location to apply to colleges of their choice.
  • Admission for other Maharashtra State Students: Applicants from other than Maharashtra states, and foreign nationals may also use this facility. However, foreign nationals may have to undergo additional mandatory procedures by contacting the University.
